You may be wondering, what are the benefits of joining a chapter? By doing so you meet many new friends who are also interested in enjoying the RV lifestyle, have many interesting stories to share and provide a wealth of information about RV troubleshooting and travel ideas, destinations and just plain having fun. We are all looking for that group of people with which we feel comfortable. I extend to you an open invitation to come to any of our South Texas Renegades rallies to see if we are the chapter for you. We look forward to meeting you soon.
Where ever your travels take you, be safe, enjoy yourself and keep those wheels rolling.
Doni Gordon

South Texas Renegades Chapter (STR)
On September 19, 1978, a group of 12 couples, under the leadership of Bob and Lavonne Humphreys, met in Rockport, Texas, and enthusiastically laid the groundwork for a new FMCA chapter.

As motor-coach enthusiasts we love to travel, see the country, enjoy nature and visit with all the wonderful people we meet along the way.
The South Texas Renegades rally 6 times per year. We do not rally in January, February, June, July, August and December.
Club membership ranges from 30-40 member coaches. We are an active group of people who enjoy visiting with each other, sightseeing, and shopping in the rally areas. We have a mixture of retirees and those who still are involved in the working world.
After dinner activities include playing games. We also share our knowledge of RV maintenance/troubleshooting ideas and topics with Tech Talk on Saturdays as well as learning new crafts.
Many members arrive by Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday before the official rally and enjoy "mini rallies" by getting together each evening for fun and fellowship.
We invite you to come join us or just to visit. If you are passing through an area where we have a rally scheduled stop by. Rally dates and locations are listed on our Calendar page and in the Association Calendar section of Family Motor Coaching magazine and on the FMCA website, along with contact information.

Our club is an exclusive club limited to RV Motor coach's. Sorry….no towables like 5th wheels.
You must also be a member in good standing with FMCA to join.
